At a time where boring reports make the asset of a mourning Earth, the United Nations report on the world water resources development has foudn a place here, on the blogsite. But, is this report, published last year, really boring? For those who are not interested deeply in water resources management, pollution and politics issues etc… the 600 pages report may seem attractiv (I have never seen anyone reading a copy of the report in the parisian subway, even on the line 10 which pass at the Unesco stop station, Ségur). Besides, it was edited in english and translated only in spanish in two months ago.
However, the text is clear, on the substance and the style. The most interesting for me is the educational poste related with. Instead giving a copy to read at children, who surely may find it unreadable, a overall view of world water issues is summarized on this 2-sheets poster. A good framework for a lesson study.
For those who are reluctant at reading entierly the report ( i haven’t finished it yet!), the UNESCO’s site display a section with a 52-pages digest, wrapping up the essential themas, and a facts and figures section from the report.

Have a good read!
